Dad’s Consignment is located at 317 South Main Street ( Route 25) in Newtown, CT. Dad’s is 4 miles South of I-84 and 10 minutes North of the Merritt Parkway. Dad’s is open Tuesday-Friday 10-6 and Saturday 9-4. Dad’s is also available for after hours appointments for large consignments and product specific purchases.

Dad’s opened in July of 2015 and has grown substantially in the past two years. Adding inventory and storage space to handle the increasing demand. All items are tested when they come in for functionality of related accessories. Dad’s offers a 7 day return guarantee on power equipment if it doesn’t work as specified.

Dad’s isn’t your typical consignment store. We don’t keep your stuff at the end of the consignment period. We don’t drop the price every 30 days until is sells at half its market value. We set pricing based on seasonality, market conditions, Consignor input and product condition. We strive to find the right price for the right buyers.

Dad’s uses the latest in cloud based Consignment store software. We can provide real time reports of sales, inventory and any product issues. This allows you to feel confident that you will have a full accountability for every product you consign to us. We also advertise products through eBay, Craigslist, social media and placement outside our store which sees a daily traffic volume of 20,000 plus cars on Route 25.

Most items sell at Dad’s within 30-60 days so you don’t have to wait long periods to get paid. Payments are processed on the 15th and 30th of the month. Items that have sold and cleared the 7 day waiting period will be paid out on the next payout date.
